Lent: The Ways of the Kingdom

Our lenten series will focus on what Jesus came to bring about – a new rule by God in the form of new relationships and values. In this series, we will be looking at how God’s rule is different from that of the world: in the time of Jesus as he saw the Jewish faith twisted, and a Roman empire firmly in the camp of violence and retribution; and in our own day, as authoritarian regimes are finding a foothold in our world, and a church struggles with being inclusive and open to a hurting world.
