Donate Your Old Eye Glasses
Leading up to the Day of Service on March 8, we are collecting donations of eye glasses to send to El Maguey, Mexico. Bring your old glasses to church anytime and place them in the box in the Narthex.
These glasses donations will be cleaned and sent to El Maguey to improve the lives of those who need glasses that utilize the free library in the village, especially the children and adults participating in the English as a Second Language class sponsored by San Jose First volunteers.
LGBTQ Youth Space
Youth Space is an organization in our neighborhood that provides services to LGBTQIA youth. We are forming a partnership with them and have an ongoing request for donations of toiletries. Items can be placed in the bin near our Welcome table outside the Sanctuary:
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Dry shampoo
- Skin lotion
